Sports Officiating has been a big part of your life.
Now you can make it a part of your legacy.
Legacy NASO is a new program whereby you may bequest a gift through your will or trust that ensures you can take care of your loved ones first, and then leave whatever else you choose to make a big difference in the future of sports officiating.
For nearly 40 years, NASO has been the only national organization dedicated to the betterment, education and protection of all sports officials at all levels. As a 501c3 non-profit, we are dedicated to provided resources for officials, advocating on their behalf, and setting standards for excellence in all aspects of officiating. We often hear from our members, past directors and longtime supporters about how proud they are to be a part of the work NASO does.
READY TO MAKE NASO A PART OF YOUR LEGACY? HERE’S HOW …
Designate NASO as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy.
Just contact the company that holds your retirement plan or life insurance policy. Let them know that you would like to update your beneficiaries, and they will send you a form. Fill out what percentage you would like to go to the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO).
Remember NASO in your will.
Including NASO as a recipient of a percentage or specific dollar amount is easy to do. Each individual situation is unique and, therefore, the following examples include only some of the possible gift opportunities. We encourage you to share your final will provision with NASO to ensure that your wishes will be properly followed and recognized. Here’s some language that you can give to your attorney, or insert in a will that you are preparing yourself.
