Leadership for Local Associations

The Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA), the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) and the National Association of Sports Officials (NASO) presented a one-day association leadership program on Saturday, June 21, at the Portland Downtown Marriott Hotel. Many high school officiating associations in Oregon and Washington were represented at this event.

Mano has spoken to thousands of officials over the years and served as a spokesperson on behalf of the profession worldwide. Alan Goldberger is an attorney and sports official. Goldberger addressed numerous legal issues affecting local association management and provided tips on handling everything from insurance concerns to bylaws management.
