Puerto Rico Group Joins NASO

A football officiating group from Puerto Rico is the newest group member of NASO.

By joining NASO as a group, not only do the members get a special rate, but they can officiate together confidently, knowing their partners are also NASO members.

Coming on board was the Puerto Rico Federation of Football Officials (PRFFO).

And David Richtberg, whose position on the board is as the “Voice” of the membership, said it was an easy decision to join.

“I was the leader to convince the board and membership to join,” Richtberg said in an email. “The insurance was the driving decision to join. We had been an organization without insurance and luckily, we had never had a reason to need it.”

NASO will design a benefit program that fits the needs of an association’s members. Leaders of associations with 25 or more members interested in having their chapter or conference staff join NASO as a group should contact Ken Koester at 262-632-5448, ext. 132, or kkoester@naso.org.
