Plans are being finalized for the 2013 Sports Officiating Summit. The 31st annual Summit will be held in Grand Rapids, Mich., from July 28-30 at the Amway Grand Plaza. The Summit is presented by NASO in cooperation with the Michigan High School Athletic Association and the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Thirteen educational sessions featuring some of the brightest minds in officiating highlight this industry event of the year. Topics such as “What Assigners Really Do,” and “The Player Safety Mandate and Its Impact on Officiating” will explore some of the tough issues facing officials and assigners today.
