‘Become an Official’ Drawing High Numbers

Nearly 1,000 individuals inquired about becoming a sports official through NASO’s “Become an Official” resource on www.naso.org in the final six months of 2012.

The free service offers information on becoming an official for football, soccer, softball, volleyball, basketball and baseball. New officials can learn about equipment that is needed to officiate the sport(s) that interest them, plus get a grasp on the costs of registration and fees, game fees, various leagues to officiate, state and national association information, contact information and much more.
