NASO’s Member Information and Consultation Program (MICP) is one of the many valuable benefits that come with NASO membership. And many NASO members have taken advantage of the program. In 2012, the NASO staff received more than 100 MICP requests/inquiries from members across the country.

MICP topics covered included: assault, assigning, board management, background checks, bylaws, disciplinary actions, membership rejections, dual membership in associations, limited liability, lawsuits, payments, rules, harassment, independent contractor status and blackball problems.
