Basketball officials who work games in the 13-school Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) have taken advantage of NASO’s group membership offer. That includes a discount rate, supplemental liability insurance and many benefits for nearly 50 SIAC referees.

The SIAC, founded in 1913, consists of NCAA Division II colleges in five southeast states (Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina and Tennessee). Schools in the conference include: Albany State University, Benedict College, Claflin University, Clark Atlanta University, Fort Valley State University, Kentucky State University, Lane College, LeMoyne-Owen College, Miles College, Morehouse College, Paine College, Stillman College and Tuskegee University. The SIAC also has a provisional member, Claflin University.
