Support for Officials of All Sports at All Levels

NASO — the National Association of Sports Officials, is the world's largest organization for sports officials at every level and all sports.

Over 20,000 sports officials from around the world belong to NASO, enjoying member benefits and supporting an organization that advocates for sports officials and that helps them maintain the highest level of officiating skills.

NASO supports officials by providing:

  • education,
  • training materials and seminars,
  • government relations, and
  • member benefits, including insurance.

Along with the resources on this website, NASO, founded in 1980, provides news and educational information via the It's Official and LockerRoom newsletters, special reports on issues affecting sports officials, as well as through the annual Sports Officiating Summit.
