(RACINE, Wis.) The Arena Football League (AFL) Los Angeles Avengers are making a unique offer to Southern California area sports officials. The team is allowing amateur sports officials the opportunity to purchase two season tickets for the price of one. A person can get two tickets in the second level of the Staple Center for as little as $112. The Avengers season begins April 19. The team will play seven home games with the final contest scheduled for July 20. For those who purchase tickets by this Saturday, April 1, they can attend a private coaches/players and season ticket holder bar-b-que at the teams practice facility in Culver City. This will allow budding officials the opportunity to talk with team representatives about the indoor game. The National Football League does all training and hiring of game officials for the AFL. For more information about the season ticket program, call Arlo Graham of the Avengers, toll-free at 866/400-9869, extension 257. |
